United Methodists in Nigeria call bishop to order

 


Members of the United Methodist Church across the four annual conferences in Nigeria have called Bishop John Wesley Yohanna to order for disobedience to the order and discipline of the church. In three separate letters sent to the bishop, which were signed by annual conference delegates, district leaders, local church leaders, and their members attached below, United Methodists in Nigeria lament widespread prejudices in Bishop John Wesley Yohanna’s administration. Information made available by persons who signed the letters revealed that a formal complaint has been filed against the bishop at West Central Conference's Africa College of Bishops.
